Quarterfinals

All four games this past Saturday were exciting from start to finish.

North Central jumped out to an early lead but Wis-La Crosse would not go quietly, pulling within one score on two separate occasions to give the Cardinals a run for their money before the eventual NCC victory.

Wis-Whitewater was up 21-7 before Wartburg quickly answered back to make it a close game. Late in the fourth the Knights orchestrated a two-minute drill in the fourth quarter to take their first lead of the game and the win.

Cortland and Alma was an all out sprint to the final horn. Over 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns between both teams made for an offensive shootout all afternoon. However, Alma could not keep pace in the second half leading to Cortland emerging on top.

This tough game went down to the wire. In a fantastic evenly matched battle, Randolph-Macon and Johns Hopkins each went on runs that knotted the game up at 36 points in the closing minutes. RMC then took control, driving 49 yards, to kick the game winning field goal.
